This is where the Formula 1 World Championship began.
13 May 1950. At Silverstone, the cars lined up for a race that would become the first page in the history of the Formula 1 World Championship. The first Grand Prix. The first start. The first victory — Giuseppe Farina in an Alfa Romeo. More than seven decades later, Formula 1 still returns to the place where it began.
Silverstone was born from the perimeter roads of a former RAF airfield. The circuit has changed over time, but its character remains: fast, flowing and built around corners that demand complete commitment. On today's 5.891-kilometre layout, speed doesn't exist only on the straights. It is carried through the corners.
Copse opens one of the circuit's great demonstrations of speed, followed by Maggotts, Becketts and Chapel — a succession of direction changes where the car moves from one side to the other at extraordinary speed before being released onto the Hangar Straight. It's the kind of sequence that explains Silverstone better than any statistic.
And the grandstands carry the same energy. The British crowd, the circuit's history and the sensation of speed turn the weekend into one of the great rituals of the season. At Silverstone, you don't simply go to a Grand Prix. You return to where Formula 1 began writing its history.

When and how are the tickets delivered?
